Smart House Residence is a bright apartment building of considerable size (2B+G+5F, approx. 12,000 sqm) in Pipera. Developed by Smart House Residence, the building owes its image to a clear interplay of white horizontals and green terraces. PPAE acted as General Designer.

The image of the building

The facade is dominated by white balcony slabs with a large cantilever, which wrap around the building and cast strong shadows, giving depth to the volume. The top levels step back, opening generous planted terraces that crown the building with a green layer. The predominant white is rhythmed by accent panels in yellow-ochre tones, while glass balustrades keep the image open and light.

Result

For the developer, a building with a friendly, well-articulated image, in which the cantilevers and set-back terraces turn a large volume into a bright, airy presence. For PPAE, a medium-scale residential project, carried through to the detailed technical-design stage.
