An apartment and retail building in Buftea (B+G+6F, approx. 9,500 sqm), developed by G&B Imobiliare ABC. Its main asset is the location: right next to the Știrbey Domain, across the road from one of the most beautiful historic ensembles near Bucharest. PPAE acted as General Designer.

The location

The Știrbey Domain means a palace built between 1850 and 1863 by ruler Barbu Dimitrie Știrbey, a chapel, a water tower designed by Anghel Saligny and a park of over 20 hectares, with centuries-old trees and a lake. To live across the road from such a neighbour — greenery, quiet and history a few steps away — is a rare privilege for an apartment building. The building, with retail on the ground floor, makes the most of precisely this position.

Result

For the developer, an apartment building with a selling point that is hard to match: the proximity of the Știrbey Domain. For PPAE, a residential project with commercial spaces, carried from concept to completion, in an entirely special setting.
